Airbus Implements New Cabin Architecture for A321XLR Production
Airbus is building the A321XLR with a new cabin architecture to accommodate its integrated Rear Center Tank (RCT). This structural change is essential for providing the aircraft's signature extended range. The new design involves modified floor structures and fuselage sections, which distinguishes it from other A320neo family variants. These modifications are being implemented on the Final Assembly Line in Hamburg. The updated architecture ensures the structural integrity needed for the extra fuel weight while optimizing the passenger cabin.
