Israeli eVTOL developer Air has announced plans to establish its first U.S. facility at the SunTrax transportation technology hub in Auburndale, Florida. The company will build an assembly plant and a research and development center on a 9.2-acre site. This new facility will be dedicated to producing the Air One, a two-seat eVTOL aircraft designed for the private consumer market. Air intends to begin production in 2024, with customer deliveries slated for 2025, pending FAA Part 23 certification for the aircraft.
