Air Tahiti Nui to resume Sydney flights in late 4Q26
Air Tahiti Nui has confirmed it will resume its direct service between Papeete and Sydney, Australia. The route, which was suspended in March 2020, is scheduled to restart on November 1, 2026. Flights will operate twice weekly, utilizing the airline's Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This move marks a significant step in restoring the carrier's pre-pandemic network and reconnecting French Polynesia with the Australian market. The resumption is a key part of the airline's long-term strategic plan.
