Air India Suspends Three Ultra-Long-Haul Routes to the US
Air India is temporarily suspending three of its key ultra-long-haul routes to the United States. The affected flights are the services to San Francisco (SFO) from Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), and Bengaluru (BLR). These suspensions are scheduled to begin in March and April 2024. The airline attributed the decision to a shortage of trained pilots and cabin crew for these demanding long-distance flights. This move is part of the airline's effort to manage its network amidst crew and aircraft availability challenges.
