Air China Schedules Resumption of Beijing-Pyongyang Flights
Air China is set to resume scheduled commercial flights between Beijing Capital and Pyongyang, re-establishing a key air link with North Korea. The carrier has scheduled the route to operate three times a week using a Boeing 737-700 aircraft, although the flights are not yet available for booking. This marks the first time Air China will serve the North Korean capital since early 2020, when services were suspended due to the pandemic. The resumption follows recent repatriation flights and signals a potential reopening of the country to international travel. Air China's service will be the only scheduled international passenger route into Pyongyang.
