Air China Confirms Order for Ten Airbus A350 Freighters
Air China Cargo has officially placed an order for ten Airbus A350F aircraft, marking a significant fleet modernization move. The deal is part of a larger agreement by China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS) for 100 Airbus jets. These new freighters will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. This order diversifies Air China's cargo fleet, which currently consists entirely of Boeing aircraft, including the 777F and 747-400F. The purchase is a major win for the Airbus A350F program, increasing its total order book to over 60 aircraft.
