Air Canada Unveils Montréal-Stockholm Service, Earmarked as Future A321XLR Route
Air Canada has announced a new seasonal route between Montréal and Stockholm, scheduled to begin in June 2024. The service will initially be operated by an Airbus A330-300. This transatlantic flight, with a duration of approximately eight hours, is a prime candidate for the airline's forthcoming fleet of Airbus A321XLR aircraft. Air Canada has 30 of the long-range narrowbody jets on order, with the first delivery expected in early 2025. The A321XLR will enable the airline to efficiently serve thinner, long-haul routes that may not be profitable for larger widebody planes.
