Air Canada Boeing 777 Makes Emergency Landing in Toronto After Engine Catches Fire
An Air Canada flight bound for Paris was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after departing from Toronto. The Boeing 777 aircraft, carrying 389 passengers, experienced an engine issue on takeoff. Video captured by onlookers shows flames repeatedly shooting from the right engine of the plane. The pilots successfully returned to Toronto Pearson International Airport where the aircraft landed safely. No injuries were reported among the passengers or 13 crew members, who praised the pilots for their professional handling of the incident.
