AFA Mourns Passing of Former Air Force Magazine Editor Robert 'Bob' Lodge
The Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) has announced the passing of Robert A. 'Bob' Lodge, a former long-time Editor in Chief of Air Force Magazine. Lodge, who passed away on June 1, led the publication for nearly two decades from 2002 until his retirement in 2021. He first joined the magazine's staff in 1999, bringing extensive experience from his previous role at Jane’s Defence Weekly. His leadership and editorial vision were instrumental in shaping the magazine's coverage of critical air and space power topics. Lodge is remembered for his significant contributions to the association and the field of military aviation journalism.
