AerCap Reports Strong Demand for 737NGs and A320ceos Amid New Aircraft Delays
Leasing giant AerCap is observing continued strong demand and high lease rates for previous-generation Boeing 737NG and Airbus A320ceo aircraft. This trend is fueled by delivery delays for new models and a robust recovery in air travel, leading airlines to extend leases on older, reliable narrowbodies. In other industry news, Air France-KLM has signed a major offtake agreement with DG Fuels to purchase up to 25 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) annually, starting in 2029. Additionally, Embraer is making progress on its passenger-to-freighter program, with the first E190F conversion now entering the final assembly phase.
