AD Ports Group to Acquire Majority Stake in German Freight Forwarder MBS Logistics
AD Ports Group's logistics division, Noatum, has announced its acquisition of a 70% equity stake in the German-based freight forwarder, MBS Logistics. The deal, valued at approximately $136 million, marks a significant step in AD Ports' strategy to expand its logistics and freight forwarding network across Europe. Founded in 1998, MBS Logistics provides comprehensive services including air and sea freight, warehousing, and customs clearance. MBS's management will retain the remaining 30% stake and continue to lead the company's operations. This acquisition is expected to enhance Noatum's presence in Germany and leverage MBS's established European network.
